Where the wild things are
Both children's book's "Where the Wild things are" and " Peter Rabbit" have several similarities concerning the plot and overall theme of the book being portrayed. In " Where the Wild things are", Max, a little boy, disquises himself as a wolf and starts acting up, this making his mother rather angry at him. When max is a wolf he rebels and ventures his imagination to a land in which the wild things graze. It is only after Max gets tired and boresom of the wild tings that he wishes to return home to somewhere that loves him. In the end, Max turns into a little boy and obeys his mother. "Peter Rabbit" has a very similar scenario except that Peter is portrayed as a little boy who acts up by rebeling against his mother's orders and therefore going into Mr. Mcgrecor's garden. It is while Peter is in the garden trying to find a way out, that he gradually transforms back into a bunny and returns home, a place that loves him. In both books you see a little boy versus a wild animal, and it is teh love of their mothers that tame them.
