Beauty and the Beast

Beauty and the Beast is one of the many classic fairytale. Like most fairytale, magic and enchantment are huge factors within this story line. Although the fairytale has a simplistic enjoyment, romance, I believe that it brings a deeper meaning with its motif. I think what the theme of the story is trying to convey is a sense of acceptance. To not judge a book by its cover, and to accept people for who they are and not any outward impressions thrust upon us.
Beauty and the Beast is a classic love story between a girl and a horrid looking beast, who is really a prince in disguise! Their relationship is forced at the beginning, but they eventually care for each other, and fall in love. In the end, a magical curse is broken and the once monstrous Beast transforms into a handsome Prince charming. Like most fairytale, they live happily ever after.
