The Cat in the Hat
Yesterday in class we discussed the famous children's book Cat in the Hat, and it's well known author Dr. Suess. The cat in the Hat is a adventurous and entertaining book, composed of simplistic language easy for young readers to comprehend. Dr. Suess, also known as Theodor Geisel, originally wrote this particular novel after a challenge was bestowed upon him. His mission was to write a children's story book that would use a vocabulary of 225 words. After several months, Suess was able to create this fasicnated story that not only eximplifies children's need for imagination but also a reading style easy for beginner readers. The cat in the Hat is the start of the well know series of Beginner Books that is used in schools world wide to help teach children how to read.
