Helen Beatrix Potter
Helen Beatrix Potter is one of the world's best known children's literature novelist, as well as illustrator. She was born July 1866 and died December 1943, she is best known for her animals and watercolors used in the small hand held sized books she created. Her most famous piece is The Tale of Peter Rabbit, which interestinly enough, was very difficult to get published in the beginning. However after publishing Peter Rabbit, she went on to write twenty three other books, all that were small enough to be held and cared by little children. Around the 1930's, Potter began losing her eye sight, therefore she was unable to continue writing. Beautrix Potter will forever be remembered for her amazing gift to the the literary world.
