Dr. Suess, Theodor Geisel

Dr. Suess, whose real name is Theodor Suess Geisel, is a well known children's book author as well as a political cartoonist. Suess first began writing political cartoons, and eventually decided to write children's literature. He is most well known for his ryhmatic meter, poetry, and imaginative characters. Many of his books have been made into motion pictures, and all his books are located in schools world. How the Grinch stole christmas, is one of the best examples of one of his books being translated into a movie. I believe, personally, that his best achievement is his beginner book series, which aids children in reading. Out of the 40 children's books he has written, almost all of them have made it to the best sellers list!
