The Stinky Cheeseman

Today in class, we discussed the postmodernism novel, The Stinky Cheeseman. This novel paradies so many things we like to know about classic fairytales. With it's twisted characters, screwed up meaningless stories, every aspect of this novel is identified as postmodernism. As well as metaficting the novel, by pointing out the painfully obvious things, such as the title page, whose the narrator, and teh table of contents. This novel has been known to be more of an adult read, however, no one really knows whether the book is aimed towards children or adults. I believe this novel is such a rare find and is lots of fun to read, even though half the time you never knows whats going on. I guess it is just part of the fun, keeping up with what the narrator(s) are saying.
