Judy is Blume is a well known american author for little kids. Her many novels often display a moral or realistic setting for her readers. In her books she often depicts problems with racism, violence, self- esteem, or family problems. A funny thing about Judy Blume is that she is known for being one of the most banned authors in Children's School libraries. I believe it is for her realistic settings and down to earth, getting inyour face attitude. Judy Blume's novel have comedy in a slight sense but are mostly just realistic and eye opening. She has written over 30 books for children and young adults, along with several series. My personal series written by her is the Fudge Series.
Judy Blume is a great author and should be kept in school libraries to better educate children in our society about real world problems.
