The Jolly Christmas Postman, written by Janet and Allen Ahlberg, is so captivating for children, and always leave them asking for more! The Jolly Christmas Postman is about a Postman who delivers letters to famous characters out of literature; such as, the three little bears, Red Riding Hood, etc. The Post man delivers these letters on christmas eve, and as the story progresses the reader gets to see the letter itself! Being able to read a hard copy of the letter is so entertaining for children, because they feel as if the letter is addressed for them. I enjoyed reading this book because it kept me anticipating for what was in the next letter!
The Jolly Christmas Postman is a sequel to The Jolly Postman, which has the same concept as the 2nd version I read.
