Berenstain Bears

As a child, my favorite stories were widely known "Berenstain Bears", collection written by Stan and Jan Berenstain. I absolutely adored these cute little stories, not only because they were entertaining, but because they had great illustrations as well as a moral plot to go with each story. Whether it be a lesson sister bear learns after she cries in the super market, or how brother bear learns to play baseball, each story had a reason for entertainment. The Berenstain collection is made up of over 300 books, and I must say I have at least read or owned most of those books. Within each tale, the Berenstain family takes you on a new adventure. I recall reading books about forts, pumpkin patches, not talking to strangers, and not to be afraid of the dark. I remember my favorite Berenstain book, was "NO girls allowed". In this particular story, brother bear makes a fort with some friends, and therefore decided sister bear could not join. However, in the end they collaborate together and build an amazing fort together. I believe I enjoyed these children's books because there was a strong since of family and a good lesson that could be learned each read.
